Terms, Booking Conditions & General Information applying to your Campervan Hire Arrangements made with Global Campers Ltd.

Please read the following conditions carefully

Global Campers Ltd is a Brokering Agent. As a Brokering Agent we offer for sale to you various products and/or services on behalf of our Principals. This can include, but is not limited to, other transport operators and accommodation providers. These are referred to throughout as “the Principal/s”

Our services consist of arranging and co-ordinating the services offered by the Principals. We are involved in bringing about a direct contractual association between you, the customer, and the Principals. We undertake to perform our services with reasonable care and skill. We cannot and do not guarantee the performance of the functions offered by the Principals. We will not be liable in the event that you suffer loss, injury or disappointment by failings of any Principal. Please familiarize yourself with the Principals Terms and Conditions as these are binding.

Contract Formation

By submitting your enquiry you authorise Global Campers to enquire on your behalf about a motorhome or a different travel service which is supplied by a “Principal”.
Our contractual liability is limited to brokering the requested service. The actual execution of the service booked is not part of our liability as outlined here.

Limitation of Liability

All information about the rental companies is provided to us by the rental companies. We therefore do not guarantee that the information provided is correct, complete or up to date. This also holds for any travel information or general information on our websites which we provide for you. This refers especially to information on passports, visas, import provisions or vaccinations.
Booking requests are always subject to availability. We do not guarantee the availability of the offer at the point of booking. We are not liable for the delivery of the service by the “principal”.


Prior to making any booking, please read the Cancellation Policy and Terms and Conditions of both Global Campers Ltd and the Principles.

Once you have sent us a booking request and the vehicle has been confirmed as available, we will send you an e-mail with your booking confirmation. The confirmation includes important information on your travel and has to be presented to the Principal at pick up.
After this a deposit will be processed (10-30% of the total amount). Once the deposit has been processed, the customer will take responsibility for all cancellation costs to both Global Campers Ltd and the Principal. The final payment will either be paid at pick up or will be debited by us 40 days prior to pick up. We will let you know which option applies to your Principal.

By booking with Global Campers Ltd, you are agreeing to abide by the cancellation policies of both Global Campers Ltd and the Principal. Global Campers Ltd have exercised care in putting together the arrangements requested by you in regard to your campervan hire. It is important that you check all of the documentation received in relation to your proposed travel to ensure that it fully meets with your requirements and to ensure that there have been no misunderstandings. If you do not inform us about any mistakes, we are not liable for any financial damage experienced by you.

Rental Charges

All prices quoted are in the currency of the destination country. Please note that rental rates in Canada and the US are calculated on a 24 hour day basis. Rental rates in Australia and New Zealand are based on calendar days.

Pick up and drop off of the rental vehicle

All campers and rental vehicles can be returned during the office hours of your principal. Please refer to your booking confirmation for these.

Deposit/ insurance excess

The deposit/ insurance excess amount depends on the Principal. This is due to be either paid in cash or by credit card upon pick up. Please refer to your booking confirmation for the amount of the excess.

Drivers and driver’s license

All drivers have to be older than 18 years (limitations apply with the Principal). You have to have a valid overseas license and an official translation (or international driver’s license) if your license is not issued in English. All drivers have to present their license and sign the rental agreement.


We recommend that you book the ferry during the peak season (October-March) as they sell out quickly.


Flights can be booked through our partner Office Air Lounge in Germany. The Terms and Conditions of Office Air Lounge apply.


We are also happy to book your first hotel or motel for you.


Payments are made by credit card or direct deposit. Some Principles charge credit card fees. Please check your quote carefully to see what fees apply. All ferry bookings, accommodation, activities, flights and guided tours have to be paid at the time of booking unless we have informed you differently.

Travel Insurance

Global Campers Ltd recommends that you take out a travel insurance policy immediately. Read your Policy thoroughly to understand exactly what you are covered for.

Changes in Reservations

If you wish to change a confirmed booking you are likely to incur fees. In some cases changing a confirmed booking will also change the pricing structure. It may be uneconomic for you to change the confirmed booking. Always check the cost before requesting changes in confirmed bookings. Any increases in prices will met by you, the customer. This may include an increase in the deposit.
If reducing the rental period or changing insurance package, the difference in deposit amounts are non-refundable.
All amendment requests must be made in writing via e-mail.

Cancellation Fees

Cancellation fees will be incurred on all confirmed bookings. Further features of your booking may be non- refundable and non-transferable. It is important to check the Cancellation Terms and Conditions of the Principal before you confirm arrangements and/or before you cancel any confirmed bookings.

All cancellation requests must be made in writing via e-mail.

Deposits made to Global Campers Ltd are non-refundable. Any ferry booking that has been made by Global Campers Ltd on your behalf will incur a $50 Administration Fee for cancellations.
If you cancel your travel arrangements after paying, any refund will not be made available to you until we have received the money from the Principal involved. In most cases fees will be payable for cancellations and in some instances you may not be able to claim a refund. Please check the cancellation policy of Global Campers Ltd and the Principals carefully.


Global Camper Ltd. will not make your personal data accessible to any other person.
